Patient Notice! This questionnaire forms the basis of your contraception consultation today. We need you to be honest with your answers including any current medication you are on. This allows our doctors to prescribe medication that helps you and to offer accurate advice. This service does not replace your regular face-to-face contraceptive pill check-up.

Here are some additional resources about contraception and how to choose what is most appropriate for your needs.

1Your Contraception

So we can calculate your BMI, please enter your height and weight (your weight measurement must be from the last week)

You must have a recent blood pressure reading to proceed. This can be arranged through your GP or local pharmacy.

When using any contraceptive for the first time, always read the information leaflet carefully. Before initiating any new hormonal contraceptive treatment, you should have your blood pressure reading done to make sure it is normal. We would advise ordering a maximum of 3 months supply so you can check that it suits you. If you have any issues or side effects, please let us know.

You require reliable access to the internet on a device which you can use to have a video consultation with the doctor in order to be suitable for telehealth. Please refer to your regular GP in person.

If we are unable to assist via a telehealth consultation, you may be asked to seek alternative medical care such as that of a doctor in person. If this occurs you will receive a refund on your request.

Simple Online Doctor is a private clinic; the consultation and medication may be eligible for rebates through your private health cover, but are not covered by Medicare or the PBS. We conduct regular price reviews to ensure we are providing among the best value online.
